Q: Why is there no core charge? A: All of our drives and internal components are new, so we have no need for your old drive. Companies charge a core charge because they plan on refurbishing your old drive and reselling it. Q: How will my new gearcase ship? A: Your new gearcase will ship UPS. If you purchase a complete unit, the drive will ship with the upper and lower drives in two seperate boxes. Q: Do I need to purchase a gasket set? A: To complete the installation of your new sterndrive, you will need new gaskets which you can purchase from us. Q: Are the new drives easy to install? A: All of our drives come with an installation guide to make installing the drive simple. You only need a basic tool set to be able to install our drives.
